Ms. Hu graduated from the University of Auckland (Auckland, NZ) with First Class Honours in Violin Performance, While a student she participated in solo, chamber and orchestral concerts, the latter seeing her focus on her second-instrument study (viola) and leading the viola section of the School of Music Orchestra throughout her degree. Teaching has remained a passion, from Linda guiding students through ABRSM exams in New Zealand to later joining the faculties of the Jiang Jie Art & Culture School (Beijing, China) and the Yew Wah Arts & Language Centre of Beijing (Yew Chung International School of Beijing, China). Linda is now working as a Strings Teacher at the Shanghai American School.
